Long blonde hair is her one vanity. Sky loves to leave it down, and spends most of her grooming time brushing it flat and keeping it frizz free. She inherited the colour from her mother, who had very fine, pretty blonde hair. When the girl does take her hair up, and tie it back, usually it's with a pretty coloured ribbon, since that looks way more classy than a ponytail holder. She dyes her hair now and then various colours with wizard dye that doesn't last too long.

Sky has bright blue-green eyes that are the focal point of her face. She prefers to wear makeup that enhances their colour, usually natural looking brown eyeliner and no eyeshadow. Mascara is always black, for some reason or another. The girl highly dislikes wearing any other colour mascara.

Her clothing style is pretty unique. She doesn't try any of the 'in' styles, usually wears what makes her comfortable. And honestly, what makes her comfortable can be many, many things. She doesn't mind low cut shirts, short shorts. Starting to wear these things just to bother her mother, Sky has grown into wearing these things on a regular basis and enjoys the attention she receives from the boys.

While she does basically personify recklessness, that one trait does not consume her entire person. She has many other traits, despite her tenancy to do things without thought, most of them ending with bad consequence. For starters, as a student, Skylar is mostly interested in literature, not so much any actual classes. She is quite involved with the reading, mostly because she thinks of the story, and deals with it on an emotional level. Good writing affects her easily, this might have to do with the volatile nature of the emotion that she personifies, or that she is an exceptionally astute individual. She pays attention to details, not usually remembering most of them, but at the moment, they appear useful. The general idea, however, usually she misses the point. For example, during Quidditch, she pays great attention to the individual roles of baseball players, but has no earthly idea what they do as a whole. Some people might call this unintelligent, which would be an error on their part. But the real reason why she doesn't see things as a whole (and why she sees her actions as one thing in the present, not thinking about what her actions could do in the future) is because she's so incredibly focused on minute details, that the general idea merely escapes her.

Another thing that is curious about this girl is that she doesn't believe completely in correct reason. People have made many mistakes, she figures. It's human nature not to be completely correct at times. Thus she figures that relying on feelings, instead of reason, makes the most sense. The girl spends an inordinate amount of time thinking about serious things, such as the complexity of human relationships, never coming to any conclusion other than that they are so wavering because people aren't ever completely solid. She has come to realize that if you were to rely on a person so completely, then you would be an incredibly unsteady person. Because each has their own strength, and when that strength is tested, some people might hold up, but most of the time, they will bend. She likes to trust people, but relying on them, that's a different story. Herself, she thinks that she can sort of rely on herself. Sky is oddly self aware. Oddly, because she realizes that she isn't completely stable, and often sways to the will of her impulses and does things without thinking. While she recognizes this, she does nothing to stop it.

Skylar is always late. If she decides to show up at all. This is just another trait of the lovely girl. She enjoys being around people, but only nice people. If someone is rude to her, she'll be incredibly rude right back-- no thought to consequence. She doesn't like meeting new people, mostly because she can never think of the right words to use when greeting someone. Conversation flows naturally out of her when she has a specific topic to talk about, but she has trouble conversing with strangers. Sky is easily sidetracked, and has a quite short attention span. She likes focusing on details, as explained earlier, but this is because she only focuses on individual details for so long, then moves on to another detail. While her attention span is short, she doesn't mind repeating things that she enjoys. Such as music, if she likes a particular song, she will listen to it on repeat until she gets sick of it. Her impulsive nature doesn't affect her self worth. She understands that her actions and their consequences are her own fault, and she doesn't mind. This is because she thinks that it's smarter to rely on emotions rather than feelings.

Lastly, Sky isn't obsessed with mudbloods versus purebloods. Her view is that purebloods are above mudbloods, and partial mudbloods. But mudbloods, seeing as they have the ability to do magic, and perfectly adept and should continue doing magic and going to school. Simple as that.
