,And it's gone to the dogs in my mind, ------------------------------------------------------------- Ross would sometimes make the mistake of saying that the Megaplex was his. He didn't mean to. He hung out there most of the time anyways. Who wouldn't like it there. Snacks,Old-school games, and people. The best place in the world in Ross's eyes. Maybe it was because he was weird...nah,Ross couldn't be weird,he was just Ross I should say.
What had even prompted him to come down to the rec center today? He could have gone to visit his family members. It had been a while since he visited his mother or his aunt. Those two places were like Cocain to him. Of course his parents house would be like that, why wouldn't it?He had a beautiful relationship with his parents. He had already grown out of the angst ridden teenager phase. Well his clothing style hadn't,but let's not dwell on that. His aunt was where he had first started filming. That was a good enough reason for Ross to think of the place like his second home.
He had been laying in bed and couldn't help but feel like he should just stick around school. His mind just seemed to think of this place first when he thought of places around the academy. It wasn't odd for kids to come here on a Sunday evening. Well it was still around noon, but Ross knew it would be evening by the time he got to the place. It was 12:49 right now.He pulled on a pair of jeans since his mind wasn't really focused on what he was wearing. He slipped on a red polo shirt and didn't think it was too prep boy for his image. He would wear anything so it really didn't matter to him if he looked one way and acted another. He grabbed his black jacket and set out with his wallet and keys stuck in his pants pocket.
Well I guess he was wrong. It wasn't like he was right most of the time anyways. Ross had gotten there alot faster than he felt he would. Most of the time he would have stopped to watch something or go off somewhere else since it seemed interesting. The outlying area seemed bare today though. He strolled into the rec room with a lazy look on his face. He didn't really expect people he knew to be here so he just went to the old PacMan game. Most of his friends would be visiting parents or out on the town.
He inserted a coin and sat quietly as he waited for the game to start up. He did love these old games quite alot. His dad was a beast at them and would sometimes play against Ross. Those were some of Ross' most fondest memories. He let the sounds tune out. Those of fellow students getting ready to go in and see a movie or some just sitting around grabbing a quick snack. He smiled to himself before finally pushing start.

It was a Sunday night, and Angie had absolutely nothing to do. She had finished her homework for the following week, Nate was busy, Lucie was off with her friends, and Em was nowhere to be seen. Lawrence was studying, and Greg had Quittitch practice. How was it that anyone she could have possibly been hanging out with was busy?
Not that Angie was annoyed; not at all. She wasn't that type of person. She was very nice and understanding, and she knew her friends lives did not revolve around her, nor did hers revolve around them. She had been sitting in the Luminosity common room when she had the idea; why not go see a movie? It was something she enjoyed doing very much, or just hanging out in the arcade playing video games. Who knew, she might actually make a new friend. If she wasn't too shy to talk to someone new.
Quickly jumping off the couch in the common room, she rain upstairs to change out of her school robes. Throwing on a black top and lightwash skinny jeans, she went over to her mirror to check her appearance. She still had a bit of make-up that she had applied that morning; eye liner and mascara. She quickly threw her blonde locks up into a messy bun, and ran a coat of her favorite cotton candy lip gloss across her lips.
It had only been a few days ago when she had her first kiss; and she had been complimented about tasting like candy. The thought make her smile brightly. She never got such compliments in her life. The thought of the day at the lake made her blush.
Walking out through the front doors, she felt the rush of cool November air. She loved nights like these; especially when she had remembered to bring her favorite light blue hoodie, which she did on that evening. She put it on as she walked, until she had made her way to the megaplex.
Deciding she wanted to go play some pin ball, she made her way to the arcade. Nobody was in the little game room besides her and another guy, who she recognized from school. But she didn't plan on saying anything; what if he didn't know who she was?

,And it's gone to the dogs in my mind, ------------------------------------------------------------- The only thing Jacob didn't really like was his extended family. That he could do without. His mother's side of the family was extremely quiet. They never really talked with one another and didn't try to get in each other's business at all. It was horrible. Your family had to fend for itself since none of your relatives would lend a hand. Jacob grew up thinking all of his mother's family had died before his parents told him what kind of family she had when he was 14. Jacob's father's family was bit better, but not as much. They were the talkative ones. They got in each other's business all the time and never stopped fighting. You didn't want to tell anyone anything on that side of the family because you knew everyone would hear about it if you did. Jacob was like the perfect offspring. He was talkative, but knew when to be quiet. He just never showed that last skill.
He really didn't why his mind strayed to them so he simply let his eyes strayed back to the mission at hand. Beat level 3 of PacMan. He never got farther than this level since he always seemed to lose one life per game. You don't get an extra one until you beat the third level as Jacob has learned through trial and error. His hands did their best to get by Blinky, but no such luck. No fourth level for Jacob. He groaned and pouted slightly. He could be such a child at times.
His eyes now wandered around the room. There were only a few video games and...a girl who seemed oddly familiar. He studied her form as she stood next to he Pin Ball game. She obviously went to school, though he didn't know her personally.Oh well.If she wanted to talk, she could come up to him. He didn't bite,he was like a child people, not a toddler. He watched the end credits, not really caring that they were one of the only sounds in the room. People passed by and thought to go in,but decided against it once they saw it was so quiet. There was a possibility that it could get a bit awkward, that much was true.He finally descended to his wallet to look around for some more loose change. He found not enough to exchange for a quarter and he wasn't about to spend all his bills on a game..no matter how addicting it is.
With nothing left to do,he simply let himself slump again the wall of the machine. He sighed quietly before looking around again. "This Place could use a bit of brightening up" he said, referencing to the gray walls. He didn't really care if the girl heard or not.If she did, then he might gain a friend of this.If not,he was only voicing his opinions. What's wrong with that?

Angie fished around her bag for some quarters, finally finding some at the bottom. I really need to clean out this bag. She thought to herself as she shifted through papers, make up, her wallet, gum, a bag of gummy worms, her cell phone, her key chain, and numerous other things that had got in her way.
She instered a few coins into the machine, and set her bag down near her feet. There was a bit of akward tension as she felt the boy look at her; she felt herself blush, even though she knew he wasn't looking at her in a romantic way, that she knew of.
She played for a few minutes before she heard the guy spoke; it was an attractive voice, smooth and friendly. She turned to see him standing against the wall. She smiled in a friendly way. "Yeah, you can say that again. I'm not the biggest fan of boring grey walls." she said with a laugh, trying to put a name to his face.
