Jamie was in a bad mood. She needed time alone. Not only had the school given her five essays but they had also given her three exams to revise for. She was never going to do it but that was beside the point. Storming out towards the woods she decided that she needed time alone away from everyone else. It didn’t matter that it was after lunch… she would go back after last lesson. Probably say that she was studying in the library and lost track of time, she could have been such a bad liar at times.
Her pace slowed after she knew she was out of eyesight from most of the classrooms, and the only ones she was in sight of she knew she could have a joke around with the teacher or the classroom would probably be empty. Dropping her bag that she had been carrying on her shoulder for a full five minutes she sat down on the grass on the outside of the woods. Not many people came out here and Jamie wondered why. It was a peaceful enough place to be, but then again the only people she would see out here at this time of the day would be the Dissemblance lot. She was hoping that that would change soon, she was so sick of looking like a bad Christmas joke when she ran into them. Red and green apart from around Christmas time was a big no in her books.
Jamie ran her fingers through her hair to try and keep it out of her eyes. She looked up at the sky to see a pretty blue one without a cloud. How dull. She would much rather see clouds or something that actually looked like something interesting was going to happen. So far everything was just plain too dull. She needed something interesting to do, even if it was just someone to talk to. Shopping would have probably been a good idea if most of the clerks didn’t know her from a mile away and notified the school in an instant. Shame she would have probably spent hours shopping today, merely because she didn’t have anything else better to do. Having nothing to do only made Jamie's bad mood worse and eventually she gave up and threw her potions book as far away from her as she could.

Today was a rather boring day in Jacob's point of view, he hadn't been out of the school in two days, he hadn't even been around the school grounds. All because his Potions Professor had told him that if he failed another quiz of his, he would be sent to detention for a week. Jacob, probably like everyone else hated detention and had experienced the extreme boredom of being in that quiet room too much before. So, Jacob was in the common room studying his butt off but quickly grew sick of it and stopped. No longer had the thought of going to detention linger around his mind, he simply had enough. Jacob put his book to the side and walked out of the common room greeting three other Bravura students that were just coming in as he was exiting.
As he headed for the Academies exit he had no idea where he was headed too, all he knew was that he was going to go somewhere. When he made it outside he paused and gazed around a bit, spotting the woods he decided to go there seeing that nobody was allowed to leave school grounds at this time. Upon reaching the outside of the woods he saw Jamie, a Bravura just like him and someone he had a big crush on. At this point he wasn't moving, he was almost there but had to figure out what to say. He always felt nervous before he talked to her but often regained his composure. They hadn't really talked much before, probably a little greeting or whatever but no big conversation.
Jacob finally started moving again, he got on the side of her and decided to st down next to her. "Hey, need company?" Jacob said, she looked as though she was just as bored as he was. Maybe he could brighten her day. It was funny how he was just recently nervous but as soon as he started to talk, it just diminished.

“Huh??,” she looked up to see Jamie, a Bravura boy in the same house and year so she obviously saw him a lot. They had spoken a few times and knew each other but she didn’t really know much about him apart from he was in 6th year and in Bravura. ”Sure,” she smiled at him as she scooched over to give him some room. Not that there was any need but it was almost like a force of habit to her. She was still intensely bored but at least now she had someone to talk to, as she had heard someone say ‘two brains are better than one’ so maybe one of them could have thought of something better do to.
Putting her hair up in a messy sort of ponytail she wondered why Jacob was here. She thought all Bravura’s were the kind to stick to lessons, well all except her. But then again if they were brave it meant they could be brave enough to skip class. Plus they couldn’t really call this truanting as they were technically still on school grounds. Barely. Laying on the ground she found that it was actually quite comfortable, despite being on the edge of a wood so it would have been rarely taken care of properly. Her head found a perfect place to rest that seemed like it was perfect moulded to her head, including the ponytail.
”So, what are you doing out here then?” she smiled at him hoping that he hadn’t taken it the wrong way and meant it like she hadn’t wanted him here. It was actually quite nice to have the company. Fixing her fringe from being put up she brushed it out of her eyes. She wished she had brought her sunglasses as the sun was shining directly in her eyes and it was beginning to irritate her. Her bad mood was beginning to calm down now and she did not need something daft like her fringe to set her off again. She was like that sometimes, she had a temper one minute and the next minute she could be completely calm.
