For some reason Iggy loved the greenhouse. The plants were so funny and entertaining. Oddly enough her favorite was Devilsnare. Most people were scared of it, thinking it will hurt them, but Iggy saw the potential for a great plant. She even had her own Devilsnare plant in the Greenhouse named Tawnkie. So today after classes Iggy decided she should pay little Tawnkie a visit.

She had a variety of toys for Tawnkie because Devilsnare quite frankly liked to grab things. Iggy found that all you have to do is keep he vines preoccupied and the plant is generally harmless. Today she brought her transfiguration homework with her, turn a hamster to a bat. With hamster, wand, and a bag full of items varying between a banana and a steering wheel Iggy walked down the Greenhouse.

Once inside she settled on the ground next to Tawnkie and gave it a few things to play with. It tickled her cheek with the vine that held a rubber ducky as Iggy opened her Transfiguration book. Just as she pulled out the hamster from her pocket she heard the Greenhouse doors open and a girl walked in. Surely Iggy would get a few odd looks for playing with a Devilsnare while transfiguring a hamster.

ROXANNE ANDERSON

Roxanne Anderson loves the greenhouse a lot only because she loves Herbology. Some people think that she is totally weird for having a fixation on the subject and the plants more than anyone else. Today though after all of her classes Roxanne decided to go to the greenhouses to look at her sort of devilsnare that she has in there that she has been taking care of since her first year. The professor that teaches the class decided to give her a devilsnare since he noticed how much Roxanne loved the subject in her first year.

So since her first year Roxanne has been taking care of a devilsnare plant that she likes a lot. She has named the plant Mellie. Don't ask why she did but she did only because she thinks the plant is a girl and she likes the plant a lot. Before Roxanne started to go to the greenhouse she grabbed a bag filled up with some stuff that she asked her mom to send her some of her child hood clothes. In the bag has like teddy bears and a rubber duck and some other stuff.

Roxanne walked into the greenhouse and saw a girl that was in her year. She then remembered seeing her in one of her classes. She said "Oh Hello. I didn't realize anyone else was here." She smiled at the girl before sitting down near Mellie and whispered to the devilsnare "Hi Mellie. I brought some toys for you to play with again." As she said that the devilsnare touched her cheek with one vine and one of the other vines went into the bag and got a teddy bear out. Roxanne smiled at the plant since she liked Mellie a lot.

Funny enough the girl went to the other Devilsnare and began giving it toys as well. So maybe Iggy wasn’t as odd as she thought, okay well actually she was pretty odd, but this girl even had a pet Devilsnare which was pretty different and that is coming from Iggy. So when the girl sat down next to the Devilsnare Iggy looked back at her book and hamster.

The spell was relatively easy but each time she tried to Transfigure it the hamster’s features vanished and was replaced with a guinea pig’s but the size didn’t change in the slightest. It was maddening because Transfiguration was so easy for Iggy and this just wasn’t working out. Sighing Iggy reread the already memorized page and muttered the incantation again. Same affect, but the thing did look a little bigger.

Taking a break Iggy looked up at the girl sitting near her and decided to make conversation. ”I have one too.” Iggy said in her sing song voice, ”A Devilsnare.” As she spoke she nodded over to Tawnkie. Then deciding it would be best to introduce herself Iggy said, smiling, ”I’m Iggy by the way.”
