Rory slung her bag onto one of the tables and slumped in the chair. Having just been given the third degree about ditching class on her first day, she was not a happy bunny. The way that teacher had looked at her.. That pity made her gag. She knew what was being thought. 'Problem child, broken home, grieving'. Who gave a damn?! Rory looked around the room, scrutinizing the graffitied desks and white wash walls. So this was where'd shed be spending her years? Fine, she couldn't stand her dorm mates anyway. She'd ditch and spend the days in the forest and then stay here as long as possible so she didn't have to put up with them. This place could take its problem child views and stuff it up their ass.

Angie wasn't the type of girl who had detention. Ever. She always did her homework, asked good questions, and was always in class, unless she was seriously ill. So why was she currently in the detention hall? Being blamed for a prank she did not commit. She had been framed, and she was determined to find out who did it.
Normally, teachers new that Angie would never do such a thing. But there had been a Charms sub, and he didn't know her at all. Angie figured it was somebody in Dissemblance, because she had gotten along great with all of the other students in that class.
When she entered the detention hall, she was surprised to see only one girl, and no professor there. She could tell by her robes that she was in Dissemblance, but then again, Angie wasn't the type of girl to judge. Trying to be friendly, she went over and sat down next to her.
"Hi....i'm Angie. I think we had potions together last year?"

Rory swept her up and down the girl, sizing her up in an attempt to unnerve her. "You may be Angie," she said, her british accent making it painfully obvious that she had never seen Angie before in her life, "but I doubt we had potions together."
She turns away from the girl and starts digging around in her bag, hoping Angie would get the hint and walk away. She was most definitely not welcome.

Angie was a little irked by the girls rudeness. She was trying to be friendly after all.
"You know, you don't have to put on that 'I don't care about anyone or anything' front around me. I can see right through that, and I can see you need a friend." she said, in yet another attempt to be nice.

Rory just did not understand this girls problem, did she have sense of self preservation? Rory looked Angie dead in the eye. "You do not know me, therefore, you do not have the right to make any kind of assumption about what I need. I thought it was just Iggy that had the ability to annoy me so completely but apparently the entire student body can do so without fail." There was no mistaking the mingled sarcasm and irritation, she was severely pissed. Why could nobody leave her alone?

"I don't get why your so negative. If your going to be a bitch, obviously nobody will want to talk to you. You need to lighten up, or your going to have some problems around here. I'm trying to be nice, and this is how you act? No wonder you have no friends." she said, not feeling bad in the least. That was one thing she seriously diliked; negtative people. [/color]

Rory rolled her eyes and started making her hand 'talk' as Angie continued her dissection of Rory's character. There you go, making assumptions again. " She said throwing her hands up in frustration. "You seem to be under the illusion that I give a rats arse about what people think of me."

"I'm not making assumptions. I was trying to make the best of this detention by trying to be nice to you. I don't get why you have to be so negative. You should take the oppurtunity of somebody being nice and become friends with them. God." Angie said, raising her voice a little. This is what she got for trying to be nice.
