Walking down Starborough Village, the young girl seemed to be just browsing windows. Her hands behind her back as she strolled along, taking little or no notice to people around her. Wearing jeans and a shirt under her jacket with her boots, Sierra looked like a normal student. Though her reasons for visiting Starborough Village were for her own dark purposes and no one else knew. Taking a turn around the corner, her blue eyes making sure that no one had followed her, the last thing she needed was a nosey student. Making sure that all was clear she slipped inside the dark shop.
Letting her eyes adjust to the darkness of the shop, Sierra went straight to the counter and slide a note to the man behind the counter. Her blue eyes never once moved as she held down her stare and then the man disappeared behind the curtain to the back room, mumbling about this might be awhile. Sighing she took a step back and looked around. It was a very interesting shop and so Sierra took the time to actually have a look around coming up to an old looking book. Blowing off the dust she picked it up and started to looking through the old pages. It wasn’t until she heard the sound of the front door opening and closing did she put the book down and walked further down the aisle hoping to catch a glimpse of whoever it was that just walked in.

Jess was bored. Bored. Bored. Bored. And that was something she couldn't stand for. Rena was busy... with some new friend she had found in the few weeks while Jess was still at home and the blonde had to go and find herself other friends apparently.
Starborough Village was a nice place to keep herself occupied and as usual she wasn't drawn to the sweet shop or the jewelry place but rather Mysterious Matter. Her mother had mentioned as had a cousin - or possibly one of the other Dissemblence students, but either way, she had come here quite often in her few years at Salem.
The bell dinged as she entered, causing her nose to rumple. She hated that. How on earth where you supposed to be dark and mysterious when the door kept making that noise. She sighed, shaking her head and moved along the wall rack, her fingers touching everything.
Jess didn't like the rule that shopkeepers had about not touching things and always did her best to do exactly the opposite of that. When she got to a mirror decorated with beautiful ornate dragons on the edges she notices someone else in the shop. Rather than turn, Jess kept her eye on the person, wondering who it might be. The angle at which the mirror was as well as the aisle that the other person had hidden behind made the whole process a lot harder for Jess.

Keeping hidden, Sierra saw the blonde walking in and recognized her right away. Same year same house. Sierra felt certain that this girl would rat on her, unless she wanted to explain to others what she was doing in the shop as well. Relaxing a bit, the dark hair girl continued to browse the items picking up an box and opening it up. It was pitch black, her blue eyes looked around and saw another item picking it up and letting it drop inside the box. It seemed to drop quite a ways before she heard a faint sound. “Interesting.” Sierra whispered and putting down the box back on the shelf and continued down the aisle, before walking out into the open.. Her blue eyes were on the blonde girl and she tilted her head a bit, wondering why she was here.
Jess Walker. Sierra remembered the girls name as she walked back towards the counter, which wasn’t too far on where the blonde was located at. Sierra was a quite girl and she could usually give people the uneasiness of being around her. But to a fellow house mate, perhaps Sierra would open up just a tad bit. “Hello.” She said, quietly and in a curious manner. Yes, she wanted too know why this girl was here. Probably for the same reason as why Sierra was here. Sighing just a bit, she leaned against the counter and looked down at the floor and waited for the storekeeper to come back from the back room or for an open conversation.

Jess turned when the other girl disappeared from her view and sighed. She looked around seeing nothing and then grabbed a small necklace which might be entertaining if she gave it to someone and moved to the counter. She turned and smiled at the other person's brief hello, finding that it was Sierra.
Sierra from what Jess had gathered really was one of the quieter students in her house. Normally Dissemblence students were rough and tough and on top of things, but whatever, it was her choice.
"Hey," Jess said placing the necklace down on the counter, making sure only to touch it with the cloth it had lain on. "How are you, Sierra? How have the holidays treated you?" she asked with a smile.

Sierra looked over a Jess and shrugged. “Alright. Though Halloween is any witches or wizards favorite holiday. How about you? How is your holiday?” Returning the smile at Jess, before hearing the noise of some boxes falling from behind the curtain. Sierra’s smile vanished and her blue eyes looked over at the curtains that lead to the backroom. “Merlin’s Beard…what is he doing?!” Kind of annoyed and she was growing impatient.
Walking behind the counter she peeked behind the curtain to see what was going on. A black crow flew out and Sierra backup and watched it fly and landed on a bookshelf not too far. It nearly gave her a heart attack and she was calming down her racing heart. She hated when things just jumped out at her. Looking once more behind the curtain. “This guy is loaded…” She said to Jess. “Should check it out.”

Jess laughed at Sierra's comment.
"Only the really crazy ones love it. Okay, well, I only love it some of the time," she said grinning and turned at the boxes. Her nose scrunched up hoping that the idiot wasn't breaking Sierra's wares.
As Sierra backed from the crow, Jess squeaked, her hand going straight to her mouth to stop the sound. Owls she didn't like, other birds... just made everything even scarier. She exhaled as she watched the bird land on a bookshelf and begin preening itself.
"Stupid bird," she muttered, straightening her unrumpled clothing. She turned to Sierra tilting her head and nodded. "Yeah," she said and moved around the counter. "Wonder what he's up to? Hope he's not breaking your stuff."
