overall;If somebody were to describe Frankie it would be the classic bad boy. He has many traits that would land him in that category. The biggest trait would be the fact that he doesn’t like to be told what to do. No matter who it is or how small the demand is Frankie won’t be told what to do or how to do something. It probably has something to do with the fact that he resents his father’s controlling nature so he doesn’t like anybody, especially authority, to tell him what to do.
Another thing is that Frankie is pretty lazy. He first started being lazy just to annoy his father but mission was complete the habit stuck and Frankie just can’t find motivation. It also helps that it still annoys his father that Frankie won’t strive to be a genius. That’s another thing that causes Frankie to be lazy, especially in school, his father expects him to be some sort of genius child and Frankie doesn’t like that, one bit.
The bad boy image also seems to fit because of Frankie’s independence. He likes to do things on his own and in his own way, he is very stubborn about that. His personality is mainly formed around the opposite way his father wants him to be. His father wants him to be a brilliant student so Frankie slacks off, his father wants him to be a model citizen so Frankie causes chaos, and most of all his father wants him to be everything that his father never got to be which was top of the class, popular, captain of the quidditch team type of guy. Frankie is his own person and won’t let anyone forget it.

anything else;The relationship between Norwall and Frankie is extremely tense. Norwall tries to controll every aspect of Frankie's life and it drives him insane. It seems that Norwall has all of Frankie's life planned out and Frankie hates it. Frankie always had a plan and the first step was to go to Salem and get into any house but Luminousity because thats what Norwall wanted. Since he got into Bravura he's been doing everything in his power to be the opposite of his father's will.
