Ehren was definitely hating his day. He cursed softly to himself as he began to remove his textbook from the rapidly spreading stain that was his spilled juice...for the third time. His textbook was beginning to stick together and the pages were beginning to stain orange. He moaned quietlyas he again, cursed his day. Removing his wand from the holster on his inner arm, he murmured a quick spell charm to remove the sticky mess off the table and on the edges of his book. Ehren let his eyes flicker around the hall where few students were, even though lunch was rolling around. In fact, almost no one in his own house was in the hall and he figured then, that most were off in the library or in the dorms. Finally deciding that reading and eating at the same time was hazardous to his health, or at least, the book's health, he gently shoved the book aside and started on his long forgotten sandwich. Cold now, but still edible.

Ellie slammed the book closed apparently a bit to loudly since she was receiving a rather nasty glare from the professor. She simply twirled a lock of her dark brown hair around her finger. It wouldn't be long until this lesson would be over. She was starving and was sure everyone in the classroom probably figured that out by her growling stomach. Finally. Ellie thought as she began stuffing the book she had been reading back into her school bag. Thought the first one to want to escape the room, she was the last one to come out of the emptying classroom.
Sure she should of probably gone back to her room to leave her books behind, but since she had missed breakfast that morning. She really did not want to walk that long distance. She adjusted the strap on her shoulder as she walked down the stairs. It seemed like ages until she finally reached the cafeteria. The room seemed a bit less crowded then usual.
She scanned the room with her dark intelligent eyes. Slowly they fell upon her own table. Only one other student was at the Luminosity table. She smiled at herself. She found it rather humorous how she was so unlike the people in her house. She slipped into the empty seat and began to serve herself a glass of water. As soon as she had began to take a drink of her water. She heard her stomach begin to growl once more. She grabbed a plate and placed it in front of her. Her right hand reached for an apple and took a bite. The juice from the pump bright green apple began to drip from the corner of her mouth. She was always a bit of a messy eater. She grabbed a napkin within her reach and began to wipe her mouth.

Ehren blinked slightly when he heard the shuffle of clothes and he turned to see the girl. His head tilted slightly and his sandwich returned to his plate in a limp form. Grabbing a napkin, he wiped his mouth and returned to watching the other girl. She seemed a bit younger than him and a rather messy eater. That brought a grin to his lips.
Shaking his head, Ehren laughed softly and returned to his lunch. After taking a bite of his sandwich, he chewed thoughtfully before swallowing and taking a stab in the dark with his less than wonderful conversational skills.
"Hello,"

At least this apple was satisfying her need to get messy. She thought with the shake of her head. Not matter what she ate, one way or another she would have something spilled on her. Whether it be on her face or her clothes. It was even worse when she others around her would get spilled on. Though she had to admit she found that rather entertaining.
She after placing the apple on her plate and wiping her face. She small hands shot towards the books she was so lazy to take back to her dorm. The three books managed to find there way down on the floor. That was all she need to spill food on her school books. A greeting reached her ears. She turned her body in the direction of the voice. She seen him when she had walked in but he appeared to be busy. She thought it would be better to leave him be then interrupt him."Hello..."Ellie managed to say with a friendly smile on her lips.

"Hello," the girl responded. Ehren took in her appearance. Small, pretty and wearing the Luminosity crest. He observed and a face and name popped into his brain. What was it? Emily--no, that was the blond girl. Elizabeth? No that was the girl from Bravura. Why were there so many girls in the school?! He was pretty sure her name started with El...ah ha! Ellie!
"You're Ellie right? Ellie Kimura?" Ehren asked. He moved to place his arms on the table and cringed as the slosh of liquid and tapping of his cup on the table signaled his juice's 4th encounter with the table. At least this time, it wasn't on his books. He hissed air between his teeth and pulled out his wand again, vanishing the juice before it got anywhere else. He sighed, looking at his over turned cup. A new cup this time, appeared at his elbow and after looking into the cup, Ehren decided that water was good.
"Okay, mess of juice aside," Ehren laughed. "I'm Ehren,"
[[ooc: lol. Isn't Ehren clumsy?]]

Ellie was never really good with names. Like most in her house she liked to spend her time alone but then again she really just had a hard time trying to remember names. In the end all friends would go there separate ways eventually. She bit her lip as she reached for a sandwich. She had forgotten how hungry she was. She took a bite still sitting, facing the boys direction. Obviously he looked familiar. He was in her house after all and if she was correct a seventh year. Now how could she remember all that, but not even know his name? It was a lucky guess, but she was sure if her assumption was correct.
She arched her left eyebrow in surprise. She was surprised that unlike her, he knew her name. Before she could swallow the bite of her snadwich a small giggle erupted from her lips. She found humor in his clumsiness. She cleared her throat and place the sandwich down on her plate."Yes, that's me."She said with a grin watching him as a quick flick of his wand the mess was cleared and it was as if it never happened."Ah, Ehren. Nice to meet you. I pretty sure we haven't met."She said stretching her hand towards him.
{{lol yes, it would of been funny if he spilled his juice on Ellie XD}}

Ehren watched as she giggled at him and he arched an eyebrow. Well, guess one person found amusement in his clumsiness. She placed her sandwich down and was grinning. She confirmed his guess with the name and he gave an abrupt cheer. He figured that eyes in the great hall would be turning towards him but he just grinned.
“Yes! I got that right at least!” Ehren said brightly.
"Ah, Ehren. Nice to meet you. I pretty sure we haven't met." Ehren grinned and took her hand, shaking almost enthusiastically, his previous bad day flying out the window.
“I don’t think we have met,” Ehren answered. “So, formally, I’m Ehren Wong, luminosity 7th year. You can call me Ehren,” He paused for a moment, his hand dropping from hers. "Actually, everyone does. 'Course you can call me Ren too, or you or hey. I think I respond to almost everything."
[[So if he did spill juice on Ellie, what would she do?]]

Ellie couldn't help but laugh once more. She found humor not only in his little cheer, but the fact that people were now staring at them. She grabbed her sandwich and managed to take a quick bite before placing it back on her plate, next to the forgotten apple she had only bit into once. She didn't mind the people who were staring. It wouldn't belong until they went back to whatever they were doing.
She smiled slightly at how enthusiastically he was shaking her hand. She let her hand drop right in front of her. She listened as he continued to keep on talking. She shook her head when he told her that he would usually reply to anything."Really? Well, don't worry. I won't call you, you or hey. I like Ren very much so."She told him with a smile. Ren actually was a fairly nice nickname. She blinked a couple of times almost forgetting to do her little introduction as well."Well, it seems you already know my name, but probably not my year. Fifth year luminosity of course. Other wise I wouldn't be sitting here."She said jokingly.
{{lol, well it would depend. if he did it on purpose or if it was an accident. but if it was an accident she would probably laugh and start a food fight lmao. ;D}}

The moment Nick entered the cafeteria, his eyes were scanning around for people he knew. He felt a little awkward as he was searching but knew that his relaxed stance showed nothing of his awkward-ness. He caught someone's eye down towards the Bravura portion of the cafeteria and he waved slightly before he caught sight of a dark head and the tipping of a cup.
Nick approached, his gait easy and comfortable as he surveyed the other to make sure it was his friend first before he broke into a light jog. He grinned when the rather loud cheer reached his ears and he shook his head.
"Well, it seems you already know my name, but probably not my year. Fifth year luminosity of course. Other wise I wouldn't be sitting here."
"I don't think the school really cares where you sit love," Nick said easily as he slid into the empty seat next to Ehren. His hands brushed across the tabletop and he grabbed Ehren's goblet before it tipped again from his touch. "Hey Ren,"

Ellie smiled politely before she turned her attention back to her sandwich. Usually she would of kept the conversation going, but she really couldn't think of anything to talk about. If her assumption was correct. Ren seemed more like the quiet reserved type. Not that there was anything wrong with that. She stomach growled at her as soon as she took another bite of her grilled cheese sandwich. She really wasn't craving sandwiches, but at least she still had her half-eaten apple on her plate.
She was about to take a drink of her water when the sound of a male's voice startled her. Who would of thought that Ellie out of all people would get startled. Sure it was quiet in the cafeteria but it was still louder then the library. She caught the cup in time but unfortunately all the water had spilled on her. She was sure if she would of taken a drink she probably would of ended up choking on it. She grabbed a napkin and began to wipe the soaking liquid. As she remained cleaning herself up she managed to catch the male's words. She scoffed softly and rolled her eyes.
"Yeah, right. How silly of me to think that."Ellie said with a forced laugh. Since when did she get startled so easily? She thought to herself as she avoided looking at the boy, her eyes remained fixated on the spill that she caused.

"Well, it seems you already know my name, but probably not my year. Fifth year luminosity of course. Other wise I wouldn't be sitting here." Ehren opened his mouth to reply to Ellie's comment when a new voice interrupted him. Well, not so much new since he placed the speaker immediately, but nonetheless, the other did speak before he could.
"I don't think the school really cares where you sit love," and Ehren turned his head to see the other boy slid into the empty seat next to him. Ehren made a strangled sound as the other nearly knocked over his 5th goblet of the day. Air hissed from his teeth in relief when the goblet was caught before it fell. "Hey Ren,"
"Nick," Ehren answered flatly. He sighed softly then blinked when Ellie promptly spilled her drink. He magicked some napkins towards her and gave Nick a droll look.
"Yeah, right. How silly of me to think that."[/b]
"That's not what this idiot meant," Ehren said immediately.

Nick felt bad when he saw that his appearance startled the girl. He only felt worse when she gave a forced laugh and began to mop up the spill she caused. Nick grimaced lightly when Ehren gave him a look, one that he associated with "Great Going Idiot."
"Yeah, right. How silly of me to think that."
"That's not what this idiot meant,"[/b]
"That's not what I meant," Nick prompted hastily, almost at the exact same time as Ehren. He ignored the idiot comment. He had his moments and he figured that this was close of one as ever. "And I didn't mean to startled you or anything." He gave a sheepish smile. "Sorry,"

"Thanks Ren."Ellie told him as she continued to mop up her mess with the napkins he managed to produce. Sure she probably should of used her wand, but her mother hated her using her magic for simple task. Even now that she was like a million miles away from her mother. Here she was doing things the 'muggle way'. She managed to look up when she heard Ren says the unknown boy's name.
She shook her head and sighed softly. It wasn't the poor boy's fault that she had been so startled and of course it wasn't his fault she spilled her water. She placed all the used napkins on her plate and turned to face the boy. She heard the boy's words. The one Ren had called Nick and laughed. A real laugh this time. She found it rather humorous how they both managed to say the same thing."Really, then what did you mean, Nick? Correct."She asked him, since she didn't know him and had only caught a his name from Ren's lips.
She smiled and shook her head. If anyone should be apologizing it should be her. She was rude to him and really it had been an accident after all."Don't worry about it, everyone has there flaws and apparently mine is being startled easily. Besides its only water."She told him with a nod.

Hearing Ellie laugh made the knot of what Ehren was pretty sure was panic disappear. He figured that if she was laughing, then Nick hadn't offended her as much as they had thought.
“Really, then what did you mean, Nick? Correct. Don’t worry about it, everyone has there flaws and apparently mine is being startled easily. Besides its only water.”
Ha! Spotlight! Ehren grinned as Ellie put his friend on the spot. She placed her wet, soggy napkins on her plate and Ehren grabbed his nearly forgotten sandwich, biting into it as they waited a response from Nick.
