FRANKIE CUZCO !! Of course the only thing personal about her trying to help him was the fact that it was in her nature. Even if helping was healing his hand or solving his wide range of daddy issues Ariella wanted to help. Despite all logic Frankie wanted to run in the opposite direction.
However the logic of it was that if Frankie went to the Infirmary again a letter would be sent to his father, no need to have that. There was no way that Frankie could heal himself because even if he was naturally smart he would’ve needed to pay attention to actually know how to heal. So Ariella was probably a good way to get his hand mended. Maybe if she wasn’t the one wanting to help and it was Frankie that had asked her it would be different, but why was it so hard to accept just this tiny help?
”Only my hand…” Frankie said his Southern voice dripping with hesitation with maybe a tinge of fear but didn’t offer it up just yet. Opening his fist he looked down at the burn and sighed. Handing over his hand he couldn’t help relate this to when his mother would heal him from hurt caused by his father. ”Jus’ my hand…” he muttered, more to himself than to her.

Ariella smiled softly and took his hand gently into both of hers. "Thank you." slipped from her lips as she examined his hand. Here was other evidence of their great height distance. His hands were like baseball gloves, sturdy and large, the complete opposite of her own thin, petite ones. She bent over his hand, studying the burn, her fingertips tracing it, the tip of her tongue caught between her teeth, a habit she had when she was thinking. She pulled back after a few moments and grabbed her wand, whispering a charm to ease the stinging and heal the burn, then another one for a burn ointment. One more wave of her wand and a murmured spell conjured some bandages, which she wrapped gingerly around his hand, securing it with magic. She checked to make sure that the bandage was secure enough and not too tight and closed his fingers around it some, looking up at Frankie, a gentle smile on her face. "See? That wasn't so bad, was it?"

FRANKIE CUZCO !! Honestly Frankie’s hand did hurt. However he was kind of used to it. None the less a burn stings like a bit.ch and Frankie wasn’t particularly enjoying it. So when Ariella took his hand he couldn’t help but flinch, flinch merely at the touch and because it kind of hurt. As she traced the burn with her finger his hand shook and he closed his eyes fighting back the memories that were on the verge of bursting out of the locked corner of his mind.
When she was finished with the bandages he didn’t move his hand. No matter how hard he fought to bring it back mentally his body wanted a safe place and Ariella seemed to fit the bill. His eyes were still closed, still fighting he demons in his head. All he kept seeing was his father’s merciless grey eyes and a shiny mahogany wand.
Why was this happening now? Why was he remembering things like this when he should be trying to pull his hand away and run from this situation as fast as he could, but his hand stayed in hers and the memories stayed in his head? His hands shaking more Frankie finally pulled his hand away and opened his eyes to reveal his internal torment. ”Thank ya,” Frankie mumbled and ducked his head, not wanting her to see his demons through his chocolate brown eyes.

Ariella watched Frankie, saw the haunting emotion flicker across his face and her heart ached at catching the briefest glance of stark fear. He didn't take his hand back immediately, something Ariella was glad of and her her fingers tightened slightly around his, though she frowned a bit when she could feel him shaking. What was so terribly frightening that it could strike right into the heart of this giant and cause him to tremble like he did?
When he finally pulled his hand away, Ariella caught the soft spoken "Thank ya. and shook her head, putting her wand backing to the pocket of her robes. "It was my pleasure, Frankie." She looked up and caught his eyes for a split second before he looked away. Again those stark emotions, calling out to someone, even if he thought he wasn't. She wanted to hold his hand again, to feel his reassuring warmth in her hands, but knew that he wouldn't allow it. She glanced around before her eyes landed on Frankie again. "Hey do you wanna get outta here? Maybe go for a walk, get some fresh air?" It was past time for the doors to be locked, but being the headmaster's daughter had its advantages. Mainly being able to sneak out without really any opposition.[/blockquote]

FRANKIE CUZCO !! Thankfully Ariella didn’t see his eyes; well if she did she didn’t say anything. Either way she was too nice to be near Frankie, too caring to be near him, too clean and pure to be by someone so tainted and ruined. Why didn’t she run away? Frankie always thought people would be freaked out by this sort of stuff, emotional stuff, hell Frankie was.
When she asked him if he would like to go on a walk Frankie was more than willing to get outside because quite frankly he felt like he was suffocating. ”Sure Darlin,” Frankie said and smiled meaninglessly. He was trying to regain his calm and it was coming back even though his voice shook a little, fresh air would definitely help.
Grabbing the letter from the table Frankie shoved it in his pocket and stood up. He stretched out his long muscled arms and then put his hands in his pockets. He looked down at Ariella and realized she was quite small. ”Come on Shortness,” Frankie drawled down to her, ”Le’s get outa here.”

"Sure darlin" Frankie's voice drawled from above her as he stood. He seemed to be trying to get control of himself, probably not wanting to look needy. Ariella just smiled shook her head glancing at her forgotten book. I'll get it later. She thought. She stood and threw her hair over her shoulder as she climbed over the bench, making sure she didn't catch her robes on anything, like last time. That hadn't been fun.
She had just straightened when she heard Frankie's voice again. ”Come on Shortness,” Frankie drawled ”Le’s get outa here.” She playfully glared at him and turned her nose up, her eyes half closed. "I'm not short, you're just freakishly big. I am perfectly sized." Her voice held laughter in it, a laugh she could barely contain and she glanced up at him, wondering if he thought she was serious.[/blockquote]

FRANKIE CUZCO !! Nothing could be truer than the fact that Frankie was freakishly large. No doubt Ariella was the size of most of the girls in the school, so that could either mean she was normal or the whole school was totally off balance when it came to height. However it was probably that she was normal and Frankie was the freak, ha go figure. ”No kiddin…” Frankie sighed, getting the joke but not exactly showing it.
Frankie started walking, slower than usual because his long legs covered more ground then her tiny ones. When the passed a teacher outside of the Cafeteria of course first thing the lady saw was Frankie, just as she was about to tell him off for obviously heading outside she saw Ariella. The teachers eyes bugged out in confusion but let it slide, because Ariella as the daughter of the headmaster, what an odd pairing. Frankie was huge, Ariella was tiny; Frankie was the schools bad boy, Ariella was the schools good girl; Frankie was flawed, Ariella was perfect. They were total opposites.
As the walked toward the door to the grounds Frankie didn’t say a word. All he did was focus on breathing like a normal person and getting outside where he was sure to regain his calm. Once at the door he pushed it open then looked down at Ariella. ”Lady’s first,” He drawled and held the door open for her.

Ariella made a face at Frankie as he responded to her joke. ”No kiddin…” She looked up at him and sighed some. Still, though she smiled, elbowing his stomach. "I was kidding Frankie. You're perfect size too." They had reached the main hall by this time and just been intercepted by a teacher, who by the bug-eyed lookon her face, didn't expect to see Ariella Rockwell, the headmaster's daughter with Frankie Cuzco, the resident bad boy. She just smiled at the teacher and waved a small wave as they walked out the doors, Frankie holding it for her.
"Lady’s first,” The perfect gentlemen. She smiled and nodded as she walked past him. "Thank you." She said as she past. Outside the moon was full and high in the sky, illuminating the grounds. It was quite beautiful and though it was a bit cold, Ariella had her ankle length robes to keep her warm. She turned around and walked back wards to see Frankie walking behind her, his eyes gazing far off. She waved her arm high, trying to get his attention. "Back to earth Frankie." She laughed. The wind blew some, strands of her hair flying into her face until she smoothed them back, a smile still on her lips.

FRANKIE CUZCO !! When Ariella got outside the door she practically skipped off. How could she be so happy and full of energy? She was looking at the moon; her eyes looked brightly at it. What was she seeing in the vacant grey orb hanging in the sky? Frankie just saw dust and rock, maybe she saw more.
Absently he walked behind her wandering how someone could be so happy on the same planet where he was so not. Sighing he pushed the last thoughts of his father into the locked up corner of his head and noticed that Ariella’s arms were waving below him. She called him back to Earth. How funny it was how they were so similar to their surroundings. He was the vacant moon and she was the lush beautiful earth. Frankie wandered if it was possible to bring the moon down to Earth.
Tilting his head down he saw Ariella’s smile and he wind blowing her hair and all of a sudden he hoped that the moon could be brought to earth because even if it caused the world to end the two could be together. When she laughed Frankie sighed and wandered if he could laugh like that. Gently grabbing her chin with his large hand Frankie drawled, ”How is it tha’ your so happy and beautiful?”
