JAMIE!!! OutfitJamie sat in the common room, absentmindedly flipping through a transfiguration textbook, staring at the wall in front of her. What the hell was she doing? She could have been at a party. But she had gotten a call from her mother saying that if she didn't spend the night studying in the common room, she was going to have to spend Christmas break at Salem. Which she could not do. Her plan was to have a boyfriend by then and spend Christmas break skiing in Aspen or somewhere equally delightful. Not Salem. And her mother would find out if she went somewhere. She always did. Jamie rolled her eyes, just thinking about it. This is torture! she shouted, throwing her book against the wall. I wouldn't do that, the book replied. Of course her mother had put a charm on the book. Because that only made sense. It would report back to her mother. Alright let's not tell my mom about this little incident, Jamie said, smoothing the skirt of her pink micro-mini as she picked the book up gently and went back to her seat. What's in it for me? the book asked. Jamie rolled her eyes and slipped a twenty in the cover. It disappeared instantly. Babe, do whatever you want, the book said. For another twenty, I'll tell your mom you're gonna ace your transfiguration quiz. Jamie giggled and slipped another twenty in the cover. She shut the book and placed it on the night stand next to her. She slipped off her shoes and tucked her feet neatly under her butt. She pulled out her wand and pointed it at the tv. Turn-onith MTVith, she guessed, flipping the wand around. Sometimes it was good that she knew some muggle stuff. She got to watch television, which no one else even though about. And MTV was about the best she could get on such short notice. She was certain she wasn't on the guest list for any of the parties tonight. Words: 335

GET MYSELF ALL FIGURED OUT? NEVER EVER. Turn-onith MTVith. Voices, voices, why didn't people sleep around here? Skylar like to party as much as the next, but if she failed another potions class because she was paying more attention to the teacher's nasty nose hair than the lesson, she would personally trim them herself. Thinking about that for a second, she revised. No, not trim them herself, that would be nasty times a billion. But maybe hire someone off the man? Sky giggled, finding her own thought process to be quite funny. Mm, but maybe she was finding herself to be so funny because she had found her way into someone's private stash of firewhiskey. After downing a glass or two. Or three, she added in her head, then everything and everyone (including herself) was slightly more humorous. She was paying more attention to the thoughts in her head than her actions, and the girl tripped over a stray pair of heels at the top of the stairs. Nearly falling down the steps that led from the girl's dorms, Sky managed to land neatly on the landing without any more mishaps. If she had broken her neck because of those damn shoes, she probably would have hexed someone. But at least she still had her drink. Clutching the coffee cup that she had been refilling with the lovely drink, she sauntered over to the girl who was standing in front of the TV.
Television never made much sense to Sky. It was nonsense, and slightly boring. Why waste your life on a screen when you could be having more drama than you could see on the TV? Which was why Sky never really watched much. "I think-ith thou mighst needeth proper muggle tools to use this device." There was amusement in Sky's tone, and she refrained from looking at the girl's face, because she would probably be offended. For some reason, everyone in Sky's house became offended at the stupidest things.

JAMIE!!! OutfitJamie looked up as a girl tripped down the hallway. One too many glasses of firewhiskey in that little coffee cup she guessed. She wouldn't be surprised. Partying was what the Dissemblance girls were known for. And this girl was no different from the rest of the Dissemblance girls if she could tell from looks. As the girl started to talk, Jamie decided to give her a break. She was, after all, more than three sheets to the wind. Jamie laughed. And you are probably right, she said. Come with me. We're going clubbing. I've got a buddy now. I'm Jamie. She lead the girl towards her room and right to her closet. She selected a pair of dark skinny jeans and a black cami. She grabbed a long silver necklace, a pair of diamond earrings, and ten silver bangles and handed the loot to the girl. Well, go ahead, get dressed. she said. The girl was probably timid, so Jamie turned back toward her dresser and selected similar jewelry for herself. Words: 172 Notes: Sorry, my muse is leaving me.

GET MYSELF ALL FIGURED OUT? NEVER EVER. Come with me. We're going clubbing. I've got a buddy now. I'm Jamie. Without a second thought, Sky smiled. Nice to know she wasn't the only impulsive one on campus. "Jamie. I think i've met you before or something. You seem familiar." Sky scanned the girl's face again, and mentally shrugged. Whatever, she hadn't remember her name, why would she remember her face? "Sky, nice to meet you." She said by way of greeting. And then for some reason Jamie decided to head back to her room. Certainly they weren't clubbing in her room, that would be kind of dumb. Well, not kind of dumb. Really dumb. When Jamie began taking things off the shelves of her closet in her room, complete with various jewelry, Sky smirked. Materialistic, was this girl? Sky was somewhat materialistic as well, but it never got in the way of a party. Outfits came second to the location, and to the amount of booze. Sure, you could look hot in a fancy pair of designer jeans, but where they truely sexy? Not really. Well, go ahead, get dressed. Clubbing buddy or not, Sky wasn't about to be ordered around by some random chick. "Am I naked? Because I'm pretty sure I'm already dressed, darling."
She hadn't given much thought to her outfit, but it was cute none the less. She was wearing an adorable tank dress that clung to every curve, without looking too slutty-- just slutty enough. A pair of metallic silver gladiator heels (Sky was surprised to find the style wasn't too atrocious once she had a pair of designer ones that seemed to go with everything) and a set of silver necklaces similar to the ones that her new 'friend' was handing to her. Sky appraised the girl's own outfit. It was very... pink. Cute, but far too girly for Sky's taste. Mentally shrugging, she tipped the last bit of drink into her mouth and swallowed. Skylar could hold her booze very, very well. It would take twice as much as she had already drank to make her actually drunk, at the moment, she was only partially buzzed. "So are you going to change or something, or are we clubbing in your room?" She said it like a joke, her tone implied a smirk. Sky wasn't particularly fond of the condescending tone that Jamie was using. Heels tapping lightly on the floor as she ambled towards the door, she waited at the edge, leaning up against the frame, wondering what Jamie was going to do.
Giving up, she offered a sentiment back in, because to be quite honest, she was bored. A little clubbing might be good. "I know this place downtown... Amazing crowd, good music, and bartenders that are easily charmed into some free booze. You in?"

JAMIE!!! OutfitJamie giggled when she realized her mistake. She hadn't even thought to look at Sky, really. She had just assumed that the half-stewed girl was in her pajamas or something equally embarrassing. In reality, Sky actually looked really cute. Jamie's own outfit was pink, frilly, and hot, but Sky looked sexy rocker-chic, and Jamie wasn't about to mess that up. She exchanged her diamond earrings for a pair of hoops nearly the size of her head. She reached for her Coach bag that she had placed briefly on the bed. She examined her hair in the mirror. To her delight, she looked fabulous. So are you going to change or something or are we going clubbing in your room? Sky asked. Jamie giggled. She loved hanging with people like Sky, they were so much fun to be around. Actually, I was just lookin' for my ID, Jamie replied. She waved her wand and a secret chamber in her dresser opened. She grabbed her fake ID and shoved it in her wallet. Ready? she asked. I know this place downtown... Amazing crowd, good music, and bartenders that are easily charmed into some free booze. You in? Sky said. Jamie laughed at the way Sky slurred her words. This was going to be a great night. Beyond, Jamie said. Are we talkin' muggle or magic? Because I could seriously go for one of those muggle mixes right now. What are they called? Maybe a Sex on the Beach. Or a margarita would be good too. Or a Pina Colada. We'll figure it out when we get there, I guess. She knew she was babbling but she honestly didn't care. She grabbed Sky's arm in her own, careful to lock the dorm to her room before heading out the door of the common room. Words: 300
